BDCC is a patient advocacy organization. We advocate for access to health care and improved quality of life for people with bleeding disorders in California. We educate community members about health access, self-advocacy, and public policy.
Organization Description : The Bleeding Disorders Council of California (BDCC — formerly HCC) was formed in the early 1980’s by the four California hemophilia organizations. In 1989, BDCC was incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This would help the Council coordinate their shared advocacy agenda to create a more effective and unified voice for individuals living with bleeding disorders in California.
