About

We educate and cultivate peaceful minds, with an emphasis on K-12 BIPOC students in the public education system, who often experience high stress levels, violence, and poverty that impedes their progress in school. Our skilled facilitators provide intensive training in mindfulness, the brain-body connection, and personal ethics grounded in compassion. Implemented in weekly after-school clubs, annual summer camps, and teacher training courses, ongoing scientific studies and compelling testimonials of alumni show that our students cope better with stress; learn conflict resolution skills; develop greater confidence, compassion, and kindness; grow in emotional intelligence; and focus better in school. Our programming is mostly offered free of charge to the community.
