Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People (PHP) is a tax exempt non profit corporation dedicated to addressing the emergency and temporary basic needs of families and individuals in the Santa Ynez Valley who are unable to provide for fundamental necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, health care, and personal safety. In addition to providing direct services, PHP functions as a referral service to match the needs of families with resources available in area communities. The long term goal of PHP is to reduce the chronic dependency of individuals and families by facilitating development of an effective family support strategy tailored to the needs of each family or individual. The result of this strategy is to empower the individual and family in need to develop skills that lead to long-term transformations and independence.
