About

The mission of the Mountain Lion Foundation is to protect and preserve mountain lions and their habitat for current and future generations. Valuable in their own right, without need of justification for their existence, they deserve to be here and thrive. We will ensure the continuance of these native big cats and the wild places they rely on for survival by fostering co-existence and informing policymakers. With a focus on education, advocacy, public outreach and emphasizing the importance of sound science, we will work with communities to preserve this keystone species.
