MBIRA provides education about traditional music of Zimbabwe through website, performances, workshops, lessons, and a vast library of field recordings. These activities also support the tradition in Zimbabwe through royalties to 300 recorded musicians, and payments to 20 musical instrument makers, and touring performer/teachers.
