Let's is not another program but a supportive human service entity that works directly with community residents, stakeholders & agencies by providing informative data and the 'hand up' they can use in designing processes to move themselves forward to wellness. Together, we identify and maximize access to existing assets (programs and services), create new opportunities, and identify and acquire the absent resources needed—intergenerationally—and measure the impacts of our efforts that address local disparities to improve community wellness. Equally important to culturally relevant data and evaluation. Let's Make It Happen strives to help motivate individuals to match the benefits of services received with their personal ingenuity to achieve measurable progress toward their self-defined wellness goals. This is important because many community residents are not involved in formal service programs. A vast majority have human service needs or concerns but suffer in silence. Therefore. Let's customizable signature frameworks—Dignity Restored, A.L.L. Abundant Life & Living, Stepping Stones (OJT/Job Creation), and We the People—help provide building blocks under which a myriad of identified goals can be addressed and evaluated. When serving as a collective impact backbone, Let's assists as a: connector, collaborator, facilitator, capacity developer, coach/ mentor, advocate, administrative support /evaluator or a digital communication hub. In the process Let's promotes place-based services, therefore, collaborating agencies, stakeholders, and the community's residents have a local presence and site through which activities are coordinated. Let's intentionally helps create safe place, safe space, with culturally affirming engagement opportunities to reduce barriers to healing, learning, and growth. Additionally. Let's CONNECT (our COVID-necessitated social media/digital communications relationship building tool) works to close the communication gaps. Intergenerational access to information and community-centered services sparks positive impacts to strengthening families. individuals, and the communities-- simultaneously. Let's takes the initiative to host webinars and social media info/education campaigns around critical topics such as: mental health, voter education, housing & healthy cities, parenting, public safety & justice, education, disease management, and career & wealth building-–to help empower people to pursue their fullest potential—economically, educationally, physically, professionally, and socially.
