Founded in 1999, Global Village School (GVS) is a unique homeschool and private school hybrid. GVS offers a WASC accredited, highly personalized K8 enrollment program and high school homeschooling option where students earn a diploma via largely self-directed distance learning. At GVS, the world is the classroom, and enrolled families have regular access to seasoned social justice minded teachers all along the way. ‚ÄãGVS empowers parents around the world to provide an inspiring, enlivening, relevant, and engaging educational experience for their children. There is ample opportunity for students to pursue their own interests while getting a world-class education - literally. We dedicate ourselves to nurturing the well-being of children, families, communities, and our Planet Earth. Our secular curriculum integrates self-knowledge, social justice, and sustainability studies with the core academic subjects.
